A wonder of wonders, Mother Nature offers the ” Côte des Blancs” terroir, a chalky soil endowing Champagnes with great aromatic finesse and exceptional structure. HOXXOH Grand Cru is made exclusively with Chardonnay from Oger, renowned for being fine and incisive, and from Chouilly for its nice minerality.

Tasting:

Bright light golden colour with vivid young bubbles. The nose is vinous with fine autolytic notes of brioche, fresh butter, roasted almond, ripe citrus, peach and white flower. The palate has good bite and tension in a vinous grower style with classic dosage, mild creaminess on the mid-palate with nutty notes, fresh butter and stone fruit flavours. Good substance and length, already with some maturity and autolytic complexity.

Vignification :

traditional Champagne pressing. Settling and racking by natural gravity. Alcoholic fermentation between 16 and 20°. Maturing on lees, partial malolactic fermentation.

Grape variety : 100% Chardonnay 50% Oger 50% Chouilly

Dosage : 7 g/l

Abv : 12,5%
